Allen Waller is awesome

Allen Waller is awesome.

This much is clear.

His debut single, Tesco Girl, is a check-out love-song, an ode to supermarket wage-slaves, a hymn to the oppressed masses forced to work for soulless giant predators who prey on our society.

At least that’s our reading of it.

Allen Waller himself maintains that Tesco Girl is about walking into a supermarket and falling in love with the girl on his till.It clearly can’t be that simple. It is catchy as a very catchy thing, though.
